John is a graduate of the University of Houston with a degree in Mathematics and a minor in philosophy. He initially worked as a Chemical Engineer and advanced to Engineering Manager. His corporate executive experience includes Phillips Petroleum and Combustion Engineering at the VP level with extensive hiring and firing responsibilities over 20 years. It includes extensive international responsibility, including leading 2 Phillips Petroleum ventures in Europe (UK and Netherlands), requiring residence in London for three years.
John is currently President and owner of John Gandee & Associates Inc., located in Austin Texas, which has been in business for 26 years. Kris Balaster is a graduate of Penn State University in the field of education.
